We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM. After a brief introduction to your guide, we will embark on a two-hour journey to Tarangire National Park, a renowned wildlife sanctuary celebrated for its diverse landscapes and the largest population of elephants in Tanzania. The park's iconic baobab trees offer a unique glimpse into the fascinating social dynamics of elephant families.

Our game drive will strategically focus on areas where recent animal sightings have been reported, with a particular emphasis on elusive predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Throughout the park, we will also encounter an abundance of giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and other captivating wildlife.

For lunch, we will pause at a scenic picnic site overlooking the river and its surrounding inhabitants. Please exercise caution as playful monkeys and baboons may attempt to join our meal, but there is no need for alarm.

After a satisfying lunch, we will continue our game drive until approximately 5:30 PM and then return to the comfortable accommodations at Motto Cottage for a relaxing dinner and restful night.

We will embark on a scenic drive from Karatu to Serengeti, a journey that will take approximately 4 to 5 hours, including necessary stops as we traverse the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. During our journey, we will briefly pause at the park gate and a designated viewpoint to capture the awe-inspiring panorama of the Ngorongoro Crater, a moment that will last approximately 20 minutes.

We will arrive at Serengeti National Park in the late afternoon and embark on an exhilarating game drive in Seronera, the park's central hub. As the sun begins its descent, we will have the privilege of observing wildlife up close, with the possibility of witnessing captivating predator-prey interactions. The day will conclude with our arrival at the luxurious Kontiki Serengeti Tented Camp.

After a hearty breakfast, we will embark on a morning game drive southward, venturing deeper into the Serengeti towards Seronera. In the late afternoon, we will depart Serengeti National Park and embark on a two-hour journey to Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge, a picturesque accommodation offering breathtaking vistas near the crater's rim.

For those interested in experiencing the rich Maasai culture, we offer the opportunity to visit a local Maasai village. This immersive cultural encounter typically lasts between 20 and 45 minutes and is available as an optional activity not included in the package price.

After a nourishing breakfast, we will depart from our lodge and embark on a scenic drive through the Rift Valley, ascending to the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro Highlands. The Ngorongoro Crater, a colossal volcanic caldera surpassing the height of Kilimanjaro, was formed by a cataclysmic eruption 2 to 3 million years ago. Spanning nearly 20 kilometers in width and plunging approximately 600 meters deep, the crater is renowned for its diverse wildlife, including the legendary Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards. It is celebrated as one of the world's natural wonders. Beyond the Big Five, the crater's numerous springs attract a variety of wildlife, including wildebeest, gazelles, reedbucks, and over 500 species of birds.

We will savor a delightful lunch at a picturesque picnic site before continuing our exploration of the crater's wildlife. As the afternoon unfolds, we will ascend the steep, winding track on our return journey to Arusha.
